Well . . . the business side of life kept us even busier than usual this holiday season. I was trying to post photos every week or so, but . . . .
All in all, we had a blessed Christmas and hope you did too! Next year I will really have to be on top of things and would love to organize my life better. I am seriously writing myself notes to put in the attic w/ our Christmas stuff. When we pull down all the decorations, I will see "the list" of how life should be different and work on our focus for the season. Even with the business, this year was better, but I always wish it was more peaceful.
All that to say, we enjoyed helping families celebrate the season with photos. We loved capturing this baby and her wonderful family!
We wrapped up our Thanksgiving weekend with a big family shoot. I knew this family wanted nothing to do with traditional portraits and told them to feel free to bring ideas, props, etc. Little did we know. We arrived to find a fall scene uniquely created in the backyard. Every family sported flavorful fall colors. This group wanted photos that truly expressed them, each and every one. We landed somewhere between candid and posed. Honestly, this was a ton of fun.
Once the big family scene ended, Steve shot individual families and a few of the kids on the side.
